Don't be a fool and die for your country. Let the other sonofabitch die for his. -- General George S. Patton

April 13, 2004Welcome to the Slaughter HouseWelcome to SlagleRocks Slaughterhouse. Here is a glimpse into the mind of a patriot, father, Airman and a damn proud American. I invite you to share your thoughts with me on all of the tough issues of the day. You will find everything from personal essays to quotes, jokes, poems, political commentary and a whole myriad of things that I feel the need to rant about. While I know I can't get all of the blue haired old women who drive 35 on the freeway off the roads, I sure can bitch about them. I may not be able to stop the bleeding heart liberals from whining everytime they get two minutes on television, but I can tell the world what I think of them. Please read my entries and comment on whatever you wish. I invite all opinions and am a firm believer in freedom of expression. Just beware if it is your expression I don't agree with, you will feel the wrath in SlagleRock's Slaughterhouse. Posted by SlagleRock at April 13, 2004 07:17 PMComments

Roo at April 14, 2004 08:58 AMWelcome. I can't read all the news nor can I believe all the networks. To get at the truth I visit the Blogs, compare what's happening to what the news outlets are spewing, form my own opinions and sometimes even spew my own. Thanks for stepping into the fray. You're bookmarked. Posted by: Jack at April 14, 2004 07:57 PMSlagleRock you da man! Love the site and keep the good vibes goin! Posted by: Da Maz at April 15, 2004 11:03 PMWelcome! Finally, a good AF blog, I've been waiting ages for you. My son is in the AF (engineer on a C-130 in Iraq) but he can never tell me where he is or what he's doing so it's rather scary. I get great pics of his plane spiraling in, after the fact! Thank you for your taking the time to write, and thank you for your service! You're bookmarked here too. Posted by: Betsy at April 19, 2004 01:06 PMYay!
