Don't be a fool and die for your country. Let the other sonofabitch die for his. -- General George S. Patton

June 24, 2004This Makes Me SickFollow the link to a Korean site that tells of outrage. This is a sad example of a clueless/heartless American having fun at the expense of others. How would he like it if one of his family members were the subject of the video? Unfortunately the Korean link does not provide a link to the site in question. If anyone finds it let me know, I'd like to say a few things to/about the individual who finds the senseless death of this innocent man humerous. Kim Sun-il gets ILL Just plain sick This type of humor is not funny at all. It is just plain sick! SlagleRock Out! Posted by SlagleRock at June 24, 2004 09:16 PMComments
I wholeheartedly agree, to make light of an innocent's death and poke fun at the individual is a cruel and inhumane event. Whoever this person is they need to spend a little time cleaning up the detritus of horrible events like this, especially if it's one they know. To see, to touch and to smell, to deal with the grief of their families just might sober up a few of those who think it's funny. I feel nothing but joy at the loss of a terrorist, but extreme sadness for the terrorists victims and their families. Perhaps having to spend a month with the mortuary team like I did will give them a different perspective. Posted by: Jack at June 25, 2004 08:48 AMConsumption Junction, What's Your Dysfunction? This is how it appears on a Google search. The execution video is still there, but I didn't see the sick commentary mentioned on the Korean site - probably deleted. Posted by: Mike M at June 27, 2004 11:13 PMWhile making light of this is anything but tasteful, I would like to point out that most Koreans thought 9-11 was funny, making jokes, calling Bin Laden an Angel and saying we deserved it. They also said the Americans deserved to be beheaded, but not their own citizens. Their outrageous racism is sickening, and I think dishonors Kim Sun Il's memory.
