September 23, 2004True BraveryTrue bravery is arriving home late after a guy's night out, being assaulted by your wife with a broom, and still having the guts to ask, "Are you cleaning or were you flying somewhere?" At our place it would go something like: Wife assaults husband at door with frying pan and he has the guts to say, "That pan must be for clunking me on the head, because we both know YOU'RE certainly not going to cook with it." Ack! Sorry, that was for my sweet, kind, and generous husband who is a wonderful chef (whom I would never clunk on the head).
