Don't be a fool and die for your country. Let the other sonofabitch die for his. -- General George S. Patton

October 19, 2004No Decision On RefusersA few days ago I ran a post on a handful of Army Reservists who refused to do their jobs in Iraq. Allegedly they failed to complete a convoy claiming that their equipment was sub standard. Needless to say I was furious about this. They just took it upon themselves to put their brethren further in harms way by not delivering much needed supplies. Luckily some other members of their unit stepped up and got the job done. 19 members of that unit were being held. Today Jack, of the Conservative Insurgent, tells us that there has been no decision on what to do with these traitors. Thanks for the update Jack!! SlagleRock Out! Comments
Go check out the update Jack has on his site. Seems this group of 19 may have done the right thing for the right reasons. Their CO was the one removed from duty for being derelict. If the Fox News article is accurate, and given the potential loss of life that following those orders could have caused, that captain perhaps needs the book thrown at him.
