Show Your Support (Marine Kills Insurgent In Combat)

By now everyone has either seen short clips from the "horrible" video in which a US Marine is seen shooting an Iraqi that is "pretending to be asleep" inside a mosque.

This has popped up in different formats from around the world. Newspapers, Blogs, TV News etc.

This Mosque Shooting as it is being called by many is raising quite a stir.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - As U.S. and Iraqi officials expressed concerns and regrets about the fatal shooting by a U.S. Marine of a wounded and apparently unarmed man in a Fallujah mosque, the U.S. military said Wednesday it is investigating whether other wounded Iraqis in the mosque were similarly killed.

I won't rewrite the story as it can be seen in full detail here on the Muslim Suport Network a.k.a. MSN. You can even see part of the video in question here.

Matt at Blackfive has offered 3 updates on the story, here, here and here.

Mamamontezz also offers her view and opinion on this incident.

Indigo offers a host of links to other sites/blogs that refer to this incident.

Now is your time to help. Don't be afraid to put your name to your beliefs. Show your support for this man by signing the online petition at Patriot Petitions.com

Slaglerock,
Im not sure what you want us to support, If it comes out that he had a clean shoot then I will support this soldier, but if our marines are killing anything that move's (which Im all for, but if that the new war attack plan then lets get on with it)I dont think I can be a supporter of such actions. Let me state again I DO NOT care that an Iraqi was killed if he was a terrorist or a combatant, If however he was just some guy I do not support the killing of inocents reguareless of there race or religion.

Read all of the articles Defender1. It is a KNOWN FACT that this man was an insurgent. He was treated by Americans the day before after he got his ass kicked when he attacked from that very same Mosque. This time he fought and lost. That Marine did what any Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine should do, when it's our life or theirs damn straight it's time to make them a "Martyr" as the morons believe.

I do not support the war in iraq.our people were sent there for a blinded lie. that was pushed down the americans throat,...... my son is there & if he dies for this senseless cause ,i hope the people in control that made this decision to go to iraq have nightmares of soldiers faces at night ,that makes them afraid to go to sleep.'''''''

Shelvieboyd,

I sincerely hope that you do not share your views with your son, at least not while he is there. The media does everything it can to demoralize and berate the troops. The last thing any of us need are family members who don't support us.

I do not agree with all of the elements/tactics that were used to get us into Iraq, but now that we are there we must complete what we have started.

We have an opportunity to bring democracy to the most volatile region on Earth.

The Iraqi people have every right to choose their own leadership and live a life that doesn't include being raped or pushed through a wood chipper.

You have every right to disagree with our being there, but the fact remains that we are in Iraq and will be for quite some time. Please support your son and all the troops with every fiber of your being!
