Waffles Offends The Families Of 9/11 Victims

Sen. John F. Kerry upset some families of 9/11 victims yesterday when he arrived - late - to a private memorial dedication in a sirened motorcade and glad-handed as though he were on the campaign trail. The senator, in Boston for the day, hopped in his motorcade at the Four Seasons, drove around the Boston Public Garden and arrived at the memorial with his sizable entourage in tow.

Press were kept away but several family members, speaking privately, said they were miffed that Kerry arrived after most other pols - such as Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Rep. Martin T. Meehan, and Attorney General Tom Reilly - had all left.

Imagine that in another display of his lunacy Kerry offends many family members attending a private memorial dedication to the victims of September 11th.

I mean honestly, you know you are attending a solemn event and you arrive with sirens wailing? Don't tell me they had to do it because he is a senator or a presidential wannabe. He could very easily have chosen to be on time and/or arrive in a more tactful manner.

Kerry's aides said the event was non-political. "As a senator from this state, and as an American, Sen. Kerry came to pay his private respects to families and friends who suffered a great loss on 9/11," spokesman David Wade said. "This isn't a day for politics, and John Kerry attended the ceremony quietly and respectfully without staff in tow, keeping the media at a distance," Wade said. "John Kerry remembers what it was like to lose friends on that terrible day, and it's seared in him as an American why we must do whatever it takes to keep Americans safe and destroy the terrorists."

So he just publicly stated that Kerry attended quietly and without the media in tow. So in other words the families of the victims are all liars? No Mr. Wade you are clearly the liar, and while all politicians have an agenda clearly Mr. (used very loosely) Kerry's agenda is not to take care of or look out for the people. So now not only do these people have to relive the horror that was 9/11 at this memorial they get to be called liars in the public media by a presidential wannabe and his lunatic staff.

Take a look at Blogs for Bush for more on this.

My thoughts go out (as always) to the families and survivors of the cowardly attack of September 11th, 2001.

The great aggrandizer wasn't there to appeal to the people, but only there for the photo-op.
