The UN, Democrats and Giving Our Freedoms Away

I got this one via email from Gunner at No Quarters Blog. I'll leave it as is. Take a look and try not to puke up your guts.

The media is still getting it wrong.
On Curmudgeonly and skeptical he links to an article about the letter to the UN.
It is in a British paper and they say 8 signed it.
Why can't they get their stories straight?
I posted this after making one call to Washington and got the story.
The large media, here and over seas, is looking rather bad.

Gunner
Here is what I posted a few days ago.

9-11-13?

This is a strange little confusing mess we have here people. Everyone remembers the story of the letter to the UN asking for election observers. I have a small problem with what is being reported. No story seems to be saying the same thing.
Here we have World net daily

The request came in the form of a letter drafted by Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Texas, and signed by eight other members of the House. LINK
So this says 9 signed it.
Then we have the copy of the letter sent to me by Johnsons office staff.

Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30)
Joseph Crowley (NY-07)
Raul Grijalva (AZ-07)
Danny K. Davis (IL-07)
Corrine Brown (FL-03)
Carolyn B. Maloney (NY-14)
Jerrold Nadler (NY-08)
Michael M. Honda
Elijah E. Cummings (MD-07)
Julia Carson (IN-07)
Edolphus Towns (NY- 10)
This letter shows 11 names on it.
Now here we have the Oakland Tribune Online saying something totally different.
Thirteen U.S. House Democrats, led by Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson and including Oakland's Rep. Barbara Lee, say it's time the United States joined the list, "given the troubling events of the 2000 election and the growing concerns about the lack of necessary reforms and potential for abuse in the 2004 election."
This says 13, and who the heck is Barbara Lee?
Well I wanted to get the correct number so I called Washington again.
The original letter I got was correct at the time. There were only 11 signatures at that point but since this hit the news a Johnny-come-lately has come on in the form of Barbara Lee.
Hopefully the larger medias will try to get the correct number out soon, but I am not holding my breath.

Thanks Gunner

It just goes to show that you can't believe anything the liberal bastard media says, thankfully bloggers want the truth and keep digging to get it. Hats off to Gunner, I'll log these names for future voter reference in case they move on or up the political chain, they are not Americans and don't deserve any office of trust.
