And The Winner Is.....

Drum roll please.....

The winner of the DNC flag design contest is:

Beaker for his second submission seen here:

Beak, contact me if you are interested in collecting the prize. If not let me know that as well. - SlagleRock

Second place goes to the great Mamamontezz for this submission:

And third goes to Natalie with her very subtle editing of the current UN flag seen here:

Congratulations to all who entered, there really were some great entries. Many people commented either in the comments or to me directly via email that picking only three was very difficult.

In fact there was only two points between first and second place. Very close indeed.

**Note** Judging was done base on a points system. Three points were given for every first place vote, two for second, and one for third. Beaker had the most points at 25 hence first place, Mama 23 points a la second place and Natalie had 16 points to earn the third place position.

Notice some very obvious similarities in all of these. The UN symbol appears in many of these flags. Association with the French and the former USSR are a close second. If we can see/perceive all of these things about the Democratic party why can't they?

Thanks again to everyone who participated and/or voted. Thanks also to those who set a link/TB to the effort.

SlagleRock Out!

Hey Slagle Rock,
I just did a post on my blog about that marine, Ilario Pantano who's being accused of premeditated murder for shooting two Iraqis. Thought you might find it interesting. You can check it out here:

You're welcome to link to it if you like.

Thanks!
