All Dried Up And Nothing To Bitch About

Well as I am sure you have noticed I really haven't had much to say recently short of the Democratic National Committee flag design contest. There really hasn't been much that has stuck out to me. Not to mention the fact that I have been extremely busy prepping for my upcoming deployment.

So, if anyone has anything they'd like my opinions on, or like to see me blog about feel free to drop a link or hint in my comments and I'll see what I can come up with.

Sorry it has slowed some, but prepping to leave your family for 6 months takes alot out of a person.

SlagleRock Out!

I only had five days on my last deployment, the family needs come first, I do understand what you are going through.

I'm just wondering about the Support Troops you meet on your deployments, or do you get to go thru the civilian transport system ?? I used to be a "Red Hat" (1st Mobile Aerial Port Sq) back in the late 70's and early 80's, and worked the Mobility Processing Center, and was wondering if they still worked as well as they did when I was there.. Wondering about going thru the line to see "Harpoon Mary" for one !! Dont worry about talking about the bag-drag tho. Dont think that will ever be anything but a pain !! Sure have enjoyed reading your stuff here.. From Redneck Central, here in beautiful N.E. Texas..

I know you will uphold the standards and traditions of the American Fighting Man, as have those who have gone before you. God Speed, Stay Safe, and return home to those who love, miss, and need you the most, as soon as possible.
