Missed that post. My guesses are
1. Twilight Zone
2. Vic Morrow?
3. Ron Popel

Rat Patrol? Yeah, I can see the dark-haired guy in the lead, but can't remember his name. About an American SAS-type outfit in the desert during WWII, right?

Posted by: GunTrash at April 16, 2005 08:12 PM

Aced that test...I guess I watch too much damned TV.

Guy S.:
1 The Outer Limits
2 Sgt Rock, in the comic books.
3 Ron Popiel

GunTrash-Yeah,that's it.I was a little kid,I don't remember a lot,but I remember jeeps in the desert chasing Nazis,w/ lots of 'Ma Deuce' action.
The main guy always wore one of those "Aussie-style" hats,so maybe they were supposed to be the 'real' SAS,I dunno,I know to a little kid,it was a cool show.

Missed number 3 (Rte 66), 7 (chocolate but came close and said cocoa) 10 (missed the first part) 11 (well with this one I said bras) 12 (got the bug but not beetle) and 13 (had no clue).

Delftsman, you are correct sir! On all three counts. Btw, do you remember the Marvel commics answer to Sgt. Rock and Easy Co.? That's right, Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos! Had all of the comics for that series from issue #33 till it stopped publication. Ahhh youth. As for #1 the Outer Limits...remember one of the other great science fiction themed shows..."Science Fiction Theater"? And as for #3...ol Ron (tho balding fast) Popel is still hawking food prep items and ovens. What a great American sucess story!
