Wilson Picket Takes Last Ride With Mustang Sally

Soul legend Wilson Pickett, best known for "In the Midnight Hour" and "Mustang Sally" passed yesterday, Thursday 19 Jan 2006 of a heart attack.

Picketts swift rise to fame in the Mid 60's was covered in a dark shadow nearly 30 years later when he had, "a little trouble with the law."

Fame or misfortune, he is a rock -n- roll hall of famer who will always be remembered for his soul and his distinctive sound.
