Bin Laden Offers Truce?!!??!!?
Al Qaeda big dog Usama Bin Laden offers conditional truce to help rebuild Iraq and Afghanistan, Usama bin Laden said in excerpts of an audiotape aired Thursday on Al-Jazeera.
According to Fox News.com a new audio tape has surfaced. Purportedly the voice heard on the tape is Bin Laden himself and he is offering a truce. A CIA spokesperson confirmed that the tape is "authentic" and it is the voice or terrorist Usama Bin Laden. The FBI on the other hand is "not so sure". According to an FBI spokesperson, John Miller, however, said it's not 100 percent certain bin Laden is even alive. The United States has placed a $25 million bounty on the terror leader's head.
"The tape's being analyzed right now — not just by the FBI but our partners in the intel community — one, to gauge its authenticity, though to date there hasn't been a false bin Laden tape that's come out, and second, to analyze its content and message," he said.
If authentic, it would be the first communication from the terror mastermind in more than a year.

"I may not be a smart man, Jenny..." Since when is a terrorist leader who is allegedly at odds with his own government in a position to offer a truce? Seriously, you have a man who is likely half dead offering a truce with the most powerful nation on Earth. I wish it were so, and I wish he'd just surrender or pass on to his "forty virgins" but I don't see this tape doing anyone any good.
