Who is SlagleRock?

Who is SlagleRock you ask. This is a complicated question. First the basics:

I am thirty years old +/-.

I am a Technical Sergeant, TSgt/E-6 in the U.S. Air Force.

I have served this great nation for over a decade.

I am a Combat Arms Instructor within the Security Forces career field. I teach small arms marksmanship and maintain firearms for the USAF. My duties range from teaching marksmanship fundamentals to gunsmithing and accountability of AF assets.

I am a married father of two (both from my previous marriage).

I am a patriot! (Nuff said!)

My political views most align with the Republican party. However, I have a few views that stray far from the Republican norm, and some that definitely tread into liberal territory I guess you could say that I am a Liberal Conservative:

I am pro choice (with sensible limitations)

I have no specific religious affiliation (methodist, baptist etc.) I guess I best fall under Protestant No Preference, but I am a Christian nonetheless.

Slaughterhouse FAQ's And Rules Of Engagement

Recent comments and emails have led me to believe that a FAQ is needed here at the Slaughterhouse. A Rules of Engagement (ROE) for the Slaughterhouse if you will. If after you read these FAQ's and my comments you think that something is amiss or should be addressed feel free to contact me. I will likely tell you to put your asshat back on and go sit in a corner and color, but that is something you will have to risk.

Q: Why do you allow profanity in the Slaughterhouse.
A: I serve in the military to protect American freedoms. One of those is the freedom of speech. While profane language is not always necessary sometimes there is no better substitute to simply telling somone what a stupid son of a bitch they really are.

Q: Why are your articles so biased?
A: Hello dumbass, this is my blog!

Q: Why have my ridiculously long comments been edited down or deleted?
A: See queston #2 Asshat, this is my blog. If you feel the need to reprint my post before commenting on it don't waste your time or my bandwidth. Get your own blog! If your comments are longer than the post be prepared to have the garbage removed.

If you feel the need to bash the military, get your own blog. If you want to bad mouth the Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines I suggest you have balls enough to do it face to face with a Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine. My comment sections will not be a place for you to disgrace the good name of the brave men and women who serve our country.

If something I have written angers you feel free to comment. I encourage everyone's right to freedom of speech and expression. However, I hold the military and all who serve dear. I will not hesitate to tell you how I feel about you if you choose to talk down on those who serve.

One last thing, my blog is not a place for free advertisement. If you are a low life, douche bag internet sales weenie do not post links to your travel agency, online gaming site or anything other than your blog with legitimate comments.

If you host a blog of your own and decide to set a permanent link to the Slaughterhouse please let me know and I will do the same (If I haven't already)
