Yes, Kerry is something of a disappointment (I'm not a supporter). But then again what's the alternative ? Kerry may be wrong on a number of issues, but regarding utter stupidity he's still the lesser evil - by far.

So - according to Vindavent, we elect a person whose total experience for the job was 4 months over 30 years ago - and it turns out that most of that was lies. We should ignore his time with VVAW and WinterSoldier, his days as Dukakis' LtGov, and his 20 years in the Senate.

Kerry was the one who chose to run on his record in Vietnam, and he should suffer the consequences of that decision. His own running mate said to ask his fellow veterans, and then when they responded(but not as they would have wished), the campaign threatened to sue any station or publisher that carried their comments, seems that it's only free speech when it's Bush getting bashed.

The Dims were hot and heavy to bash Bush on his military record, but couldn't get traction with it;Bush released all the pertinent records and cleared up the discrepancies.....IF Kerry would release his records, it might clear some of his problems up....IF he is the truthfull one.
They say that the people that were with him support him. LIE Of the 23 other officers in his unit only two gave him any support, and one of those has since recanted after Kerry brought back the "I was in Cambodia on Christmas" bit. (which is an obvious lie; he couldn't even get the president right!)
Of the 245 members of his fleet group; exactly 7 support him, and they are all members of his campaign. They call honorable men liars when they have nothing to gain by doing so, and a lot to lose is they are caught in a lie. They say the Swift Vets are backed by a Texas land developer....SO WHAT? Hear anything about George Soros or the myriad other 527's backing the Kerry campaign? It's legal, and they don't try to hide any interconnections, unlike Soros, the Tides Foundation, and the ICP like exists in Kerries funding...btw just HOW does Kerry propose to pay back the money he borrowed on that mansion?,seeing that the interest on the loan is almost the same as his salary?, and it would be an illegal contrubution for TeRayza to outrightly pay it?

I'm a Navy Vet PapaSlagle. I got a good gripe on that piece of crap called Jon F'n Kerry. He pulled all support for the nagotiations of the return of the POW/MIAs remains. I was active in aViet Nam vets group then and the hurt went so deep that more than three quarters of the members quit the chapter.

I really hate to keep going thru the same shit for the illeterate Kerry supporters, but -

Kerry has almost 20 years in the Senate. Where is that mentioned in his campaign? NOWHERE! He's doing his damndest to get away from his voting record.

Kerry was LtGov under Dukakis. Where is that mentioned in his campaign?

And, PapaSlagle, if you have any knowledge of the military whatsofuckingever, you would know that with anyone who is above you in rank, from the shittiest little Ensign to the Commander in Chief, you respect the rank, not the man! And if by chance you can respect the man as well, that's a bonus.

Ok, so I debated on how to go about this one after reading the comment from my Father, PappaSlagle aka-(on this site)-Bob.

I did call Kerry supporter’s idiots so in essence I may have been calling my own Dad a dumbass. That was certainly not the intent, I have nothing but respect for my Father even if our political views differ. However, he did tell me, "I am not thrilled with the prospect of Kerry but I will a least give him a chance."

That is exactly what I expected. I know many people that don't like Bush or some things about him, and some of them even say, "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know."

That about sums it up. PappaSlagle will vote Kerry because he doesn't like Bush, not because he likes John F-ing Kerry.

Most of Kerry’s votes will be because so many Americans are like Kerry they waffle. On Sept 12th 2001 near 90% of our country wanted to immediately run off to war with any and every nation that might have something to do with terrorism. Now many of those same people talk down about our actions in the Middle East.

Well to that I say horseshit. Kerry is nothing more than a liar. Everything about his "war record" is a lie. He makes up stories about people and places. He spent "time in Cambodia because President Nixon told him to".

A liar doesn't sit well with me at all. I was taught to tell the truth. My Father taught me that. If he truly doesn't like either candidate maybe he should vote for an independent.

I just can't in good conscience vote for a man who lies so much he probably honestly doesn't know when he is lying or telling the truth.
